Sauteed Cajun Shrimp

This super quick and easy shrimp recipe reminds me of the Steamed Shrimps I savored at Phillips Restaurant at Chesapeake Bay in Maryland many years ago. It's truly a versatile dish. It can be enjoyed with family at your dinner table or simply as a nosh watching a ball game with friends.

Serves 2-4
Ingredients:
2 pounds shrimps with heads, thoroughly rinsed
3/4 teaspoon sea salt
2 teaspoons granulated garlic
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon chili powder (more if you like it extra spicy)
1 tablespoon Extra Virgin olive oil

Directions:
1. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl.
2. Heat wok or sauté pan.
3. Place and spread out shrimps in the heated pan.   Cook shrimps in high heat (uncovered) for 2-3 minutes.
4. Flip shrimps over and sautee for another 2-3 minutes, until both sides are pink.
5. Remove heat.  Serve alone or with whatever your heart’s desire.
